The people who questioned the sincerity and credibility of the deputy police commissioner in New Delhi, who addressed the world media and told them about his discoveries in the context of Hansie Cronje, should now come forward and apologise.
Because this chap was an Indian, his credibility was questioned. But now, it is clear that what he had to say was absolutely true.
As far as Cronje is concerned he must now come completely clean. There is enough already to suggest that Cronje will be banned for life. The South Africans will find themselves in a situation where they will be obliged to cooperate with police authorities in India in particular and world over.
Hansie Cronje could be sent to India, and he could end up in jail. This is no laughing matter but one can't help thinking that the Tihar jail could end up fielding one of the best cricket teams in the world.
